Welcome to the photo album of Stephan Balmer.

Red and round...

As I learnt to enjoy how much can be shown by one picture, I started looking for an easy way to let others access my pictures too. Since static HTML pages are difficult to manage, there had to be an apt album manager: Zoph.

This page gives some general guidelines how you can, and should, use Zoph. Please read the whole page if you access the album for the first time!

Zoph or "Zoph Organizes Photos" was written and is maintained by Jason Geiger. Thanks for this excellent software, more information about it here and here.

For the impatient: To the album! or Login.

Legal issues

The pictures available to visitors were either taken in public places or are published with the consent of the pictured people. So publishing those pictures should be in harmony with our law, you can read about that here: "Das Recht am eigenen Bild" (in german).

For the PIKPA album, I go with the assumption that everyone is ok if the viewing is restricted to us volunteers.

Please contact me if you don't like this in general or you want some pictures removed.

Use the pictures in the archive with care, please ask before using them on a website or in any other publication. Copyright remains with the specified photographer (mostly me).

Logging in

Everyone can use zoph as visitor, go directly to zoph, without logging in.

To authenticate yourself as volunteer, you have to show some insider knowledge :)
Go to the login page and authenticate with the name "volunteer". Use the surname of the so-called devil as password (all lowercase).

Please note that zoph will automatically register you as visitor if you provide an incorrect login name/password. You can use the "logon" link in the upper-right corner to try again. Upon correct login, you will be greeted with your username by zoph.

If you would like to upload your pictures to the archive, you can get an account in zoph if you ask me.

Contact the webmaster@number.ch should you have any problems.
